Medizinische Ganganalyse · Bodensee

Was wir messen

Zeit-Distanz

Schrittlänge, Schrittbreite, Kadenz und Gehgeschwindigkeit.

Symmetrie

Seitenvergleich von Stand- und Schwungphase.

Druck

Druckverteilung und Abrollverlauf unter dem Fuß.

Kinematik

Gelenkwinkel von Sprunggelenk, Knie und Hüfte im Video.

Becken

Absinken, Rotation und Ausweichbewegungen des Rumpfes.

EMG (optional)

Aktivität der relevanten Muskelgruppen im Gangzyklus.

Ablauf

So läuft Ihre Ganganalyse ab

Anamnese & Untersuchung

Beschwerden, Vorgeschichte, Befunde – plus klinische Untersuchung von Beweglichkeit, Kraft, Beinachsen und Fußstatik.

Messung

Kurz beantwortet

Was ist eine medizinische Ganganalyse?

Die videogestützte, ärztliche Untersuchung Ihres Gangbildes. Analysiert werden u. a.

Medical gait analysis · Lake Constance

Walking is the most frequent movement of your life – and the least often measured.

Video-based, physician-led analysis of your gait with pressure measurement and optional EMG – performed by a specialist physician in physical and rehabilitative medicine. We look for the cause of pain in the feet, knees, hips and back, instead of treating only the symptom. Optionally followed by EMG biofeedback training.

Complaints

Does this sound familiar?

Knee or hip pain when walking?

Leg axis & hip stability

A pelvic drop during stance (Trendelenburg sign) or an unstable leg axis overloads knee and hip with every step. Video analysis makes the pattern visible – and trainable.

Back pain after longer walking or standing?

Pelvis & spine

Pelvic rotation, leg-length difference and trunk movement determine the load on the lumbar spine. We measure what standing still doesn't reveal.

Heel or forefoot pain with every step?

Foot & roll-over

Pressure measurement shows how your foot lands, rolls over and pushes off – the basis for exercises and targeted insoles, e.g. for plantar fasciitis or metatarsalgia.

A limp that won't go away after surgery or injury?

Gait after surgery

Protective patterns often outlast healing. After joint replacement, ligament injury or fracture, the analysis shows which compensation remains – and how to resolve it.

Parameters

What we measure

Spatiotemporal

Step length, step width, cadence and walking speed.

Symmetry

Side-to-side comparison of stance and swing phase.

Pressure

Pressure distribution and roll-over path under the foot.

Kinematics

Joint angles of ankle, knee and hip on video.

Pelvis

Drop, rotation and compensatory trunk movements.

EMG (optional)

Activity of the relevant muscle groups across the gait cycle.

Process

How your gait analysis works

History & examination

Complaints, history, previous findings – plus a clinical examination of mobility, strength, leg axes and foot posture.

Measurement

Video recording from multiple planes and pressure measurement while walking – barefoot and in your everyday shoes, optionally with EMG.

Evaluation

Joint slow-motion review: you see for yourself where the pattern arises and why it causes complaints.

Correction plan

Concrete exercises, advice on insoles and footwear, therapy recommendations – and your analysis as video material.

With or without EMG biofeedback training

The analysis shows where the problem lies. Biofeedback training helps solve it: you see your muscle activity in real time and learn to control it precisely.

Diagnosis & plan

Gait analysis

  • Clinical examination
  • Video and pressure measurement while walking
  • Evaluation and correction plan with exercises

Diagnosis, plan & training

Gait analysis + EMG biofeedback training

  • Everything in the gait analysis
  • EMG measurement of muscle activity across the gait cycle
  • Training with real-time feedback, e.g. for an inhibited gluteus medius

Useful when muscles don't fire properly after surgery or injury, or a protective pattern persists despite exercises.

FAQ

Quick answers

What is a medical gait analysis?

A video-based, physician-led examination of your gait. It assesses foot roll-over, leg-axis stability and pelvic movement to find the cause of complaints – not just the symptom.

Who benefits from a gait analysis?

Anyone with chronic or recurring pain in the feet, knees, hips or back, a noticeable gait pattern or limp, after surgery or injury – and preventively, e.g. before getting insoles.

What should I bring to the appointment?

Shorts, your everyday shoes, any insoles you use and – if available – previous findings and imaging (X-ray, MRI).

Is the measurement done barefoot or in shoes?

Usually both: barefoot shows your own foot mechanics, shoes and insoles show the load in everyday life.

Does the gait analysis help with insoles?

Yes. Pressure distribution and roll-over provide an objective basis for whether – and which – insole makes sense, rather than fitting from a footprint alone.

Is an online gait analysis possible?

Yes. Based on your video recordings, an analysis with concrete recommendations is available worldwide via online consultation – in English, German or Slovenian. Pressure measurement is only possible on-site.

Težave

Vam zveni znano?

Bolečine v kolenu ali kolku med hojo?

Os noge in stabilnost kolka

Videoanaliza vzorec razkrije – in omogoči ciljno vadbo.

Medenica in hrbtenica

Rotacija medenice, razlika v dolžini nog in gibanje trupa določajo obremenitev ledvene hrbtenice. Izmerimo, česar v stoji ni mogoče videti.

Bolečine v peti ali sprednjem delu stopala ob vsakem koraku?

Stopalo in odvijanje

Merjene vrednosti

Kaj merimo

Čas in razdalja

Dolžina in širina koraka, kadenca in hitrost hoje.

Simetrija

Primerjava faze opore in faze zamaha med levo in desno stranjo.

Pritisk

Porazdelitev pritiska in potek odvijanja pod stopalom.

Kinematika

Koti gležnja, kolena in kolka na videoposnetku.

Medenica

Spuščanje, rotacija in kompenzacijski gibi trupa.

EMG (po želji)

Aktivnost ključnih mišičnih skupin skozi cikel hoje.

Potek

Kako poteka analiza hoje

Anamneza in pregled

Težave, predzgodovina, izvidi – ter klinični pregled gibljivosti, moči, osi nog in statike stopala.

Meritev

Ovrednotenje

Skupna analiza v počasnem posnetku: sami vidite, kje vzorec nastane in zakaj povzroča težave.

Kratki odgovori
